UAE's Largest Foreign Direct Investors - and the Legacy of the World's First Oil Tanker

In the end of Quarter 1, the UAE’s largest foreign direct investors met in Dubai for their annual board meeting, in the presence of His Excellence The UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri and as organized by the UAEIIC and its Secretary General.

Sense Strategy’s Founder and CEO Mr Erik Almqvist was present and gave a global economic and investment outlook, including both a short, medium and long-term economic outlook for the world.

The presentation also provided an opportunity to reflect on previous generations, who have helped build the world we live in today, and whose efforts we sometimes take for granted. The legacy of Mr Almqvist great grandfather Sven Alexander Almqvist, who together with the Nobel brothers built the world’s first oil tanker in 1878 was discussed.
