Uganda - UAE Business Day - Energy Oil & Gas and Minerals Panel Debate

The Founder and CEO of Sense Strategy, Mr Erik Almqvist (great grandson of Sven Alexander Almqvist, who built the world's first oil tanker together with Ludvig Nobel in 1878), moderated the Energy Oil & Gas, Minerals and Renewables session at the Uganda - UAE Business Day 🇺🇬 🇦🇪 , where the Prime Minister of Uganda Hon. Robinah Nabbanja and H.E. Zaake Wanume Kibedi, Uganda's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, gave keynote speeches at an event sponsored by Uganda Airlines.

Topics discussed included the completion of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) from Uganda to Tanzania, its 6.5 billion barrels of oil reserves, and its vast gold ore discoveries with a commercial value once mined of trillions of USD. We are delighted to see Uganda's (the Pearl of Africa) journey as one of the fastest economic growth countries on the planet with 7% GDP growth this coming year expected to grow by 12% in 2026.
